    General Product Description

    SSAB Virsbolt face plates are used with Virsbolt expandable rock bolts.

    SSAB Virsbolt face plates are used to create a local surface support around the borehole where the Virsbolt expandable rock bolts are installed. The face plates are used to transfer the displacement of the rock mass into the rock bolt. SSAB Virsbolt face plates are used for tunneling, construction and mining.

    Advantages using SSAB Virsbolt:

  • Provides immediate and full support action

  • Accommodates large rock movements and still maintain its high load bearing capacity

  • High deformability to accommodate ground movements in tension as well as in shear
