The high-strength structural steel Docol S600MC is a hot-rolled steel made for cold forming, with a minimum yield strength of 600 MPa for stronger and lighter structures. Docol S600MC meets or exceeds the requirements of S600MC in EN 10149-2. Typical applications include a wide range of heavy trucks components and parts, such as frame rails and cross-members. Docol S600MC comes in coils, slit coils and cut-to-length sheets.
Hot rolled / UC: thickness 2.00-10.00 mm, width up to 1600 mm.
Slit strip and cut to length sheets are available upon request.
1) If ReH is not applicable then Rp0.2 is used.
2) A80 value applies for thicknesses < 3.00 mm.
3) A5 value applies for thicknesses ≥ 3.00 mm.
4) For both longitudinal and transverse direction.
1) If the material is to be hot-dip galvanized, this must be specified in the order. Galvanizing class A available upon request.
2) Sum of Nb, V and Ti = max 0.22%.
The steel is grain refined.
Hot rolled (UC): Tolerances in accordance to EN 10051.
Customized dimensional and shape tolerances are available upon request.
Uncoated (UC): available as black or pickled and oiled.
All surface treatments are in accordance with RoHS directive (2011/65/EU) and do not contain Chromium VI (Cr6+). Surface treatments provide only temporary surface protection during transportation and storage. In order to avoid corrosion damages, care must be taken to keep the products dry during transportation and storage. If they become wet, they must be separated and situated so that they are dried quickly.
